Senior expert visits KiLGA to develop a research document on “Local Government and the Donor Community in Kiribati”

1 – 4 April 2013, Mr. Bernard Weimer a senior expert visited the Kiribati Local Government Association to develop a research document on “Local Government and the Donor Community in the Pacific”.

The aim of his assignment is to draft a research document on the donor possibilities for KiLGA and their representative organizations in Kiribati, exploring all donors, including but not limited to multilateral to bilateral to any available national donor funding, as well as interesting partnerships to be explored for these donor-funded projects.

Mr. Weimer is a local government specialist with profound knowledge of local governments and their association, decentralization, local authorities and local government association in the Asia, Caribbean & Pacific (ACP) group of states.
